35 Touch Develop & MicroPython Projects The BBC micro:bit is a credit sized computer based on a highly popular and high performance ARM processor. The device is designed by a group of 29 partners for use in computer education in the UK and will be given free of charge to every secondary school student in the UK. The device is based on the Cortex-M0 processor and it measures 4 x 5 cm. It includes several important sensors and modules such as an accelerometer, magnetometer, 25 LEDs, 2 programmable push-button switches, Bluetooth connectivity, micro USB socket, 5 ring type connectors, and a 23-pin edge connector. The device can be powered from its micro USB port by connecting it to a PC, or two external AAA type batteries can be used. This book is about the use of the BBC micro:bit computer in practical projects. The BBC micro:bit computer can be programmed using several different programming languages, such as Microsoft Block Editor, Microsoft Touch Develop, MicroPython, and JavaScript. Niemand twijfelt er aan dat buizenversterkers een opmerkelijk mooi geluid produceren. Ze klinken levendig, diep en doortekend; het klankbeeld is zeer aangenaam en dynamisch schijnen ze nagenoeg geen beperkingen te kennen.Via een systematisch theoretisch onderzoek gaat de auteur na waardoor deze fraaie eigenschappen ontstaan. Hij ontwikkelt nieuwe modellen voor versterkerbuizen en transformatoren, waardoor het mogelijk wordt om op voorhand, tijdens het ontwerp, al te bepalen wat de eigenschappen van de buizenversterker worden. De koppeling tussen eindbuizen en de uitgangstransformator wordt diepgaand gemodelleerd. Daarbij ontstaan nieuwe inzichten in een uitzonderlijk soort vervorming: de dynamische dempingsfactor vervorming (DDFD). Via rekenmodellen in het complexe domein worden vooral de eigenschappen in de grenzen van het hoorbare gebied (tussen 20 Hz en 20 kHz) onderzocht en ontstaan stabiliteitsvoorwaarden waar de versterker minstens aan moet voldoen. In versterkers wordt vaak tegenkoppeling toegepast, die uitgebreid wordt gemodelleerd en waarvan de gehoorsmatige gevolgen diepgaand worden besproken.Vervolgens wordt een fraaie selectie van bijzondere buizenversterkers besproken. Kenmerkend in dit boek is dat de auteur niet alleen technisch schrijft, maar verhalend laat zien dat het ontwikkelen van buizenversterkers ook ingrijpt in je dagelijkse leven; zelfs het nut van patenten wordt besproken. Wie enigszins bekend is met moderne microprocessor systemen als Arduino, kent ongetwijfeld ook de problemen met dit soort kaarten. Ze zijn te duur om voor elk project een aparte kaart aan te schaffen en zijn bovendien nogal fors van formaat. Het aardige van de ATtiny is dat de schijn bedriegt. Het lijkt een klein IC met een beperkt toepassingsgebied, maar het heeft een verbazingwekkend scala aan (speelse) mogelijkheden. De inhoudsopgave laat zien dat we ons op vele terreinen zullen begeven, van zonnevolger tot helling indicator. Dit boek is beslist geen theorieboek. Het is een boek dat gelezen zal worden met de soldeerbout in de hand. Voor het programmeren van de ATtiny maken we dankbaar gebruik van een Arduino kaart. Als de Arduino ingesteld word als programmer, kunnen we er de meeste Arduino “sketches” mee overzetten naar de ATtiny. We wensen u veel plezier met het nabouwen van de schakelingen.
